Did you know? Some stores charge 1/2 price for 1 item that is BOGO and you can use a coupon for each one. Some stores you can combine a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon and save even more. If a coupon bar code starts with a 5 even though it says "DO NOT DOUBLE" it will double if scanned. A coupon bar code that starts with a 9 will not double. Sales run in cycles that repeat. You must at least have the same number of items that you have of coupons and ECBs at CVS for you to be able to use all of the coupons. So you may need a cheap filler. There is an order you need to hand the cashier ECBs and coupons for it to work correctly and take of the amount in the best possible way at CVS. You can roll ECBs for the next sale, letting you get items free. You can order coupons online. You can bid and win coupons of EBAY. Some stores give you overage. (Example: item is .79 and the coupon is 1.00 off they will give you the whole $1 giving you the extra 21 cents, not literally handing you the change so make sure you have another item worth at least 21 cents) The military can use coupons past the expiration date.
Do you have some did you knows to share? Post them in the comments below.
I have heard many excuses why people don't coupon.
I only buy Brand name products? Most all coupons are on brand name products.
I only buy generics to save money! Why buy generic when you can get brand name items very cheap or FREE !
It takes too much time! Couponing doesn't take much time. There are coupon databases available to check for a coupon. Set you up a system to easily locate your coupons. Once you get a stockpile it will save you even more time...less trips to the store....less gas...less time.
Here is a link to a coupon database http://www.couponmom.com/index.php?cid=10
I am brand loyal. Me too..... to a certain extent, but if I can get free Joy...forget Dawn for a while.
I don't have time to clip and sort all those coupons. I don't clip and sort unless I am going to use them. I file the entire insert in order by date, check the online coupon database against my sales and clip the ones I am going to use.

In the past year or more I have not paid one cent for toothpaste. I have not purchased dishwasher detergent in over a year or aluminum foil, peanut butter, pancake mix, augratin potatoes, frozen hashbrowns, mustard, hot sauce and I have enough to last me at least another 6 months or more of each and paid zero or a few cents for these items.
What's the secret?

*Holding on to coupons until the item goes on sale.
*Multiple coupons used for items that are one sale.
You save a little buying one item at a time with a coupon. But...think, if you have 10 coupons for 50 cents off Peter Pan Peanut Butter, it goes on sale for $1 at your local store that doubles coupons....you get 10 jars for free !! If it doesn't go on sale and you need it, use 1 coupon get what you need. If the coupon expires before it goes on sale, what have you lost?- Nothing. Throw them away.- or better yet, forward them on to someone in the military, they can use expired coupons past the date of expiration.
